We've Changed Our Name (And That's Just the Beginning)

After a long hiatus, we're excited to say hello again! You may be wondering just what we've been up to since we closed our patio last October.

Buoyed by strong sales last summer and facing a need to grow beyond the constraints of our original location, in late 2021 we secured a new space onsite at the Fort George downtown campus. This space will enable us to expand production and welcome customers back indoors.

We're acknowledging this new iteration by reflecting on our short history and evolution. This is a new beginning and it calls for a new name —something that better represents the spirit of Astoria. You can read more about this evolution on our About page

So here we stand, a cider company entering its fifth year of existence yet approaching the world anew. Today we bid farewell to the Reveille Ciderworks name and begin our next chapter as the Fortune & Glory Cider Company.

We may be saying goodbye to an old name but our founders and passion remain the same.  We’re bringing back many of the great ciders that defined our first four years, complemented by several new additions.

This coming week we will release the first cider ever produced at our new facility: Back to Black, an English-style summer blackberry cider. We think you're going to love it. Our friends at Fort George Distribution will begin shuttling kegs of Back to Black across the North Coast, and we'll soon offer it by the pint at our new location.

Our new taproom will feature several new elements, including our own kitchen, crafting delicious foodstuffs tailored to complement our ciders. We’re also excited to introduce a spirit-free cocktail bar, celebrating the art and science of mixology, minus the alcohol.

Until we’re ready to open our doors to the public, please keep in touch. Follow our social media channels (links below in the footer) or sign up to receive our emails or text messages and we'll make sure you're the first to know when the new Fortune & Glory taproom turns on the open sign.

As a tribute to the trailblazing, pioneering and enterprising spirit of Astorians past and present, Fortune & Glory will continue to deliver the pre-prohibition farmhouse and pub-style hard ciders that helped Reveille Ciderworks become interwoven in the fabric of Astoria. We're fortunate to call this place our home and we're fortunate to call Astorians our friends, neighbors and customers. We can't wait to see you again, soon.
